What’s inside?

Our report identifies LNG transportation trends in shipping, including changes in LNG ship charter rates, order and delivery patterns.

It comes with a complete set of data on the LNG transportation fleet and order book, including a list of all new LNG ship orders and deliveries for 2018/ 2019.

Shipping demand in Q1 was seasonally weak due to higher availability of vessels, resulting from the redelivery of LNG carriers that have been employed on short-term charters over the mid-winter period. However, there has been some small upside to tonne-mile demand. Disruptions at the Suez Canal and a reduced number of slots at the Panama Canal have pushed LNG carriers on the longer voyages via Cape of Good Hope (CoGH)
