PetroChina's Dalian LNG terminal is 50 kilometres from Dalian, on the Dagushan Peninsula in northeast China. The terminal received final approval from the National Development and Reform Commission in February 2008 and construction was completed in April 2011. The project's initial phase includes three 160,000-m3 storage tanks, a berth to dock LNG carriers with a shipping capacity of up to 267,000 m3, and regas facilities.
